20 Local Spots to Shop This Small Business Saturday

1. Ebb & Flow

906 E. CENTER ST. 

Riverwest’s newest maximilist home goods shop stocks a variety of home goods items, including candles, throw pillows, mugs, bags, dishware and small gifts from trending brands like Baggu, Graza, Backdrop, Le Puzz and more. For Small Business Saturday, the store is offering shoppers a free Ebb & Flow tote bag designed by local artist TwoLips Creative with a purchase of $50 or more. The shop also announced there will be two other Black Friday/Small Business Saturday sales to shop over the weekend.

2. Paloma Wilder 

2105 N. PROSPECT AVE. 

Jewelry designer Paloma Wilder may be best known for her bonded jewelry bar, but she also has a ton of one-of-a-kind, locally made earring, rings and necklace options for the silver and gold lover in your life. Over the weekend, the team is hosting their “Pink Friday” Sale, which runs from Friday to Sunday, and offers shoppers 10%, 20% or 30%-off pink-tagged fine jewelry.

3. Beer’d MKE Grand Opening

1320 E. BRADY ST. 

Beer’d MKE is not only celebrating Small Business Saturday with a bunch of in-store promotions, it’s also celebrating its grand opening on Brady Street! The “go-to spot for all gifty things aggressively inappropriate, queer and hilarious” is opening at 9 a.m. Visitors will get 15% off the entire store until noon. From noon-9 p.m., visitors can get 10% off all their purchases. 

4. Urbal Tea

3060 S. 16TH ST. | ONLINE

In a sea of local coffee roasters, did you know Milwaukee also has its own herbal tea company? Urbal Tea offers blends like Energize, Balance, Refresh and Relax (to help you do just that!) in delicious flavor combinations for the liquid lover in your life. For Small Business Saturday, they are offering 30% of all blends and sizes (bought online). They also offer a tea advent calendar as well as a “brew-tiful” gift box for quick grab-and-go gift options. 

5. Pink Moon Bay

317 N. BROADWAY

The Third Ward is home to Pink Moon Bay, a clothing retailer designed for mothers and daughters, with a range of clothing styles and fits for all ages. The store is celebrating Small Business Saturday with a promotion for shoppers – receive 50% off a signature sweater when making a $75 purchase.

6. House of Gaud

2018 S. 1ST ST., SUITE 310 | ONLINE

If you’re shopping for lovers of vintage furniture and home goods, check out House of Gaud. The store has a week full of holiday shopping deals. Now through Sunday, shoppers can take 20% off their entire purchases. Purchases can be made in-person at their Lincoln Warehouse, or on their online shop if you don’t want to brace the crowds. 

7. URSA

2534 S. KINNICKINNIC AVE. 

Bay View’s home goods retailer and plant shop, URSA, has a variety of deals this Small Business Saturday. All shoppers can get 10% off all purchases. Additionally, the first 50 customers who spend at least $50 will receive a tote bag packed with swag, coupons and gift cards from other Milwaukee small businesses. All shoppers will also get the chance to win an URSA gift card when they spend $50 or more through the in-store raffle.

8. MARN Art + Culture Hub

191 N. BROADWAY

This Saturday, MARN is hosting a craft sale for Milwaukee Pets Alive, a no-kill animal shelter. The shelter staff and volunteers will be selling homemade crafts, with 100% of the proceeds going to the non-profit. While you’re there, you can shop MARN’s pre-made gift baskets, including things like wine, a MARN T-Shirt, a MARN sketchbook and pen, a piece of art made by a local artist, a MARN Membership and more, all ready to go for the art lover in your life.

9. Urban Milwaukee Gift Shop

Are you shopping for someone obsessed with MKE? Make a stop at the Urban Milwaukee Gift Shop, where Milwaukee-themed books, candles, clothing, games and clothing can be found. From Friday to Sunday, the store is offering shoppers 25% off their entire purchase. If you’re an online shopper, you can take advantage of the same deal by using the code LETMEIN at checkout. 

10. Shoo

Is footwear on your to-buy list this year? The Third Ward’s resident shoe retailer, Shoo, is offering shoppers a deal on Small Business Saturday: spend more than $50 and receive a free large tote bag to keep or gift. If you can’t make it on Saturday, the store will also have this deal on Dec. 2 and 3 as it celebrates its 18th year in business. 

11. Lilliput Records

1669 N. FARWELL AVE. 

Beloved East Side record shop, Lilliput Records, is hosting a Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday deal for music lovers hoping to snag a deal for holiday shopping. On Friday, the store will offer 10% off new LPs and CDs, 15% used LPs and 30% off used CDs, as well as other deals including a raffle to win a pair of tickets to the upcoming Blink-182 concert. On Saturday, Lilliput is offering 10% off all gift cards of any value, and on Monday it’s giving digital shoppers 10% off of any order on their discogs page.

12. Salty Paws 

121 N. JEFFERSON ST. 

If you have some four-legged friends to celebrate this holiday season, check out Salty Paws, Wisconsin’s first dog ice cream bar, for doggie gifts galore. Every Saturday, through Dec. 23 every shopper will get $5 off their purchase of $30 or more. Additionally, on Friday, the ice cream bar will have 15% off all toys, plus a free goodie bag for the first 12 customers. 

13. Face Foundrie

326 N. WATER ST. 

 The Face Foundrie, the facial bar in the Third Ward, is giving you a free gift with a purchase on Small Business Saturday to keep or gift along. They will also offer pre-fab holiday gift sets for a quick-shop option. 

14. The Bronzeville Collective MKE

339 W. NORTH AVE. 

Shop handmade earrings, local art, self-care goodies and more at The Bronzeville Collective MKE’s Buy Black Friday two-day sale. Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., you can stop in for discounts, door-busters, refreshments, vender pop-ups and more. Plus, items from all local brands priced above $10 will be 15% off. 

Markets

15. Milwaukee Art Museum

700 N. ART MUSEUM DR. 

In addition to all the goodies at its gift shop, MAM is hosting a weekend-long holiday shopping extravaganza for the art aficionados in your life. On Saturday and Sunday artists and vendors, including Mata Traders, Franciscan Peace Makers, Bay View Printing Co, Bitter Ex and others, will be selling their wares. MAM also will have free gift wrapping, live music and visits from local authors throughout the weekend. 

16. Frankie’s Gift Shop

184 S. MAIN ST., THIENSVILLE 

Frankie’s Gift Shop in Thiensville is a great stop for stocking stuffers and local gifts. The shop has goods from over 50 artists and makers, including seasonal gifts like ornaments, stockings and mugs. It also has toys, candles, jewelry and more. This year, the store is hosting its first Shop Small Saturday Winter Market from 10 a.m.-4 p.m

17. Milwaukee Makers Market at Discovery World 

500 N. HARBOR DR. 

This one-stop-shop is curated by Milwaukee Makers Market in celebration of Shop Small Saturday. Over 50 vendors will be selling their handmade crafts and goods with free entrance for shoppers. The event will run from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. with local vendors including Frank and Bella, Crafted LLC, Little Woman Creations and dozens more.

18. Small Business Saturday Shop Hop Event @ Downtown Port Washington 

323-7 N. FRANKLIN ST., PORT WASHINGTON

The shops of Downtown Port Washington are collaborating for this weekend’s Small Business Saturday Shop Hop event. Local shops are offering deals, discounts and gifts for shoppers, as well as an annual “swag page” giveaway at each of the participating retail locations. 

19. Small Business Saturday Gift Expo @ Tamarind Studios 

900 S. 5TH ST. #203

Tamarind is transforming from a dance studio into a market this Saturday from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. The event will feature vendors and craftspeople from across the city for quick browsing and holiday shopping. The entry fee is $5. 

20. OPE! Pop Up Shop

6751 W. NATIONL AVE., WEST ALLIS

West Allis’ OPE! Brewing Co. is celebrating Shop Small Saturday one day later! On Sunday, the OPE! Pop Up Shop will include one-of-a-kind gifts from makers including Oniomania, Lit MKE, Green Baked Goods, Blue Starfish Creations and many more. The first 20 shoppers will get a mystery bag with over $50 worth of goods.
