Multi-platinum musician Lizzo announced she’ll be performing at Milwaukee’s Fiserv Forum on May 16 as part of her “Special 2our.” And it truly is “about damn time,” Lizzo has not played Milwaukee since her newsworthy 2019 Summerfest set. The Fiserv Forum performance is a part of the second leg of her 2022 North American tour, a 17-date engagement that starts on April 21 and wraps June 2.

American Express® Card Members will have first access to purchase concert tickets with a presale opening Nov. 16 at 10 p.m. and closing Nov. 17 at 10 p.m. Afterward, ticket sales will open to the general public on Nov. 18 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased through the Fiserv Forum site or Ticketmaster.

22-year-old rising rapper, Latto, is set to open for Lizzo throughout her “Special 2our.” Latto’s EP “Big Latto” was released in summer of 2019 and featured the breakout single “Bitch From Da Souf.” A remix track featuring Saweetie and Trina was released a few months later.

Lizzo’s most recent single, “About Damn Time,” off her latest album “Special,” reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and cracked the top 10 in 12 other countries. The album, which peaked at number two in the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, has been described as “the most unabashedly joyous, sonically diverse and emotionally profound album put out by a major label since Beyonce’s Lemonade,” by Rolling Stone.
