Where to Get Breakfast on the Farm in Wisconsin
Breakfast on the Farm during June Dairy Month is so much more than eggs, sausage and pancakes. It’s a nearly 90-year tradition that brings members of the public behind the scenes to learn where milk and other farm products on your table come from.
“Visitors can learn about cow care, how things grow and why farmers make the choices they do” – such as why crops are planted in a row, says Tina Peterson, Wisconsin communications director at Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin. “People want to know where their food is sourced from, how it’s produced.”
